Home remedies are so important to know if you are striving for self reliance. Being able to take care of your own health needs is so very beneficial.

Here on the farm, we use a lot of herbal remedies and home remedies. We rarely go to the doctor. I believe that natural alternatives to modern medicine are best. I just feel better using them, and I love embracing those old vintage skills that grandma had.

Making your own medicine is wonderful. You can avoid the side effects and addiction-prone pharmaceuticals. And you get more in-touch with nature at the same time!

Imagine not having to go to the doctor for every little thing, because you know how to treat it yourself. How much money would you save?

Imagine, in the event of an emergency, you can take care of your family’s health needs without a physician. What peace of mind would that give you?

Imagine being able to gather plants and “weeds” around you to make your own medicine. What sense of empowerment would that give you?

We can all benefit from using these old-fashioned home remedies and herbs. With the right research and training, we can heal ourselves!
